Delivery, Shipping & Returns Policy

UK Delivery & Dispatch

We make every effort to dispatch your paper snowflakes parcel promptly. Usually, orders placed before midday (12:00 PM) will be dispatched on the same day. We aim to dispatch all orders within one working day.

We will notify you by email as soon as your order has been despatched.

Shipping Costs & Services

  • Standard Delivery (Royal Mail 48): Free for orders over £25. For orders under £25, the cost is £2.99.

    This service should arrive between 2–5 working days from dispatch.
  • Premium Delivery (Royal Mail 24 / 1st Class): Available for £3.99 (Under £25 only).

    This service aims to arrive within 1–2 working days from dispatch.
  • Next Working Day Delivery (DPD): Available for £4.99.

    Orders must be received by 12:00 PM (midday) Monday–Thursday.

    (Please note: Orders received after 1:00 PM Thursday through to 1:00 PM Friday may not arrive until Monday. Any orders placed after the 1:00 PM cut off on Friday, and all Saturday & Sunday orders, will be dispatched Monday morning for Tuesday delivery.)
  • Important Note: Orders received after midday Friday and all Saturday & Sunday orders will be dispatched on Monday. Multiple or bulky items may be dispatched by courier.

Parcel Delivery Issues

If your parcel does not arrive as expected, we must allow 7 working days from the expected delivery date before a parcel is officially considered lost and a replacement can be sent out.

If you require your parcel by a specific date, we strongly recommend using our ‘Next Working Day’ delivery service and informing us at the time of ordering.

Christmas 2025 Last Posting Dates (UK)

To ensure your paper snowflakes arrive in time for Christmas 2025, please note the following last posting deadlines:

Royal Mail (Domestic Services)

  • Royal Mail 2nd Class: Monday, 15th December
  • Royal Mail 1st Class (RM24): Wednesday, 17th December
  • Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed: Monday, 22nd December (Our recommended final option)

DPD Services

  • DPD Standard Delivery: Tuesday, 16th December
  • DPD Next Day Service: Thursday, 18th December (Our recommended final option)

Note: These dates are based on carrier recommendations for 2025 and may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.

International Postage

Currently, we do not ship internationally.

Returns & Refunds

In the unlikely event that you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we guarantee to exchange it or provide a full refund, subject to the following conditions:

  1. You must contact us within seven working days from the date you receive the goods via phone or email at [email protected].
  2. Goods must be returned to us within 14 days in their original packaging and in a re-saleable condition.
  3. Return delivery costs are to be paid by the customer. It is recommended that proof of postage is obtained from the post office.
  4. If the goods have arrived either damaged or faulty, The Paper Snowflake Company will refund the return postage costs.

Exclusions & Liability

  • No returns or refunds are given on sale or discounted items.
  • No liability can be accepted by The Paper Snowflake Company for return goods damaged or lost in transport.
  • We guarantee to refund monies paid within 30 days of order cancellation and/or receipt of returns.
